Bioptron® at home

We offer outpatients the opportunity to rent a Bioptron® appliance for use at home or during a stay in a care residence.

Bioptron® Light Therapy, which uses harmless (non-UV) linear polarised light, is mainly used in treating hard-to-heal wounds and skin afflictions, but can also be used to ease complaints associated with inflammation and pain.

Bioptron® appliances are medical devices which comply with the European Directive 93/42/EEG and may be used by patients without a prescription. Nonetheless we always advise you to consult the treating doctor or nurse.
