SCD Express™ at home

SCD Express™ is a system to optimise the blood circulation using intermittent pneumatic compression. This reduces the occurrence of deep-vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE) without an increased risk of bleeding when using anticoagulants (blood thinning agents).

The SCD Express™ system also plays a part in wound care in e.g. the treatment of venous ulcers.

HAROMED gives outpatients the opportunity to rent an SCD Express™ system. It is also possible to buy one. The appropriate sleeves (various dimensions available) can also be purchased from HAROMED (however, it is not possible to rent sleeves).

The SCD Express™ can be operated with batteries or using the mains and has alarm functions, to guarantee the therapy’s safety. It operates very quietly.
